love how the song builts out like the actual fases of a
melting plastic object. Especially the soft part in the
middle of the track and how the plastic object burns to a
crisp and vaporises into thin air at the end

wrong - meltphace6 is marvelous. that's how tracks should be
if they want to keep fresh at every listen.

i love how synth sings like drops

Mount Saint...When the girl starts humming and the wicked
808 beat on meth starts in. Thats my drukqs utopic moment.

Wouldn't mind another double album like it myself. This and
"Go Plastic" make lots of other drill'n'bass albums sound a
bit pointless, imho.

what is it about drukqs you guys like? Is it the fast tempo
and drill style beats? The many sounds and changes through
the songs as opposed to Analord which is slower tempo and
the same sound through the songs. That seems to be the
biggest difference to me.

my utopic moment is that in ziggomatic where there's like
this fraction of a second break (pause) and a single beep.
do you know what i'm talking about?

the soft synths
the tugboat thing at the end of vordhosbn

the attention to detail, maybe

drukqs is just an insanely detailed album. there isnt a
single thing in that album that doesnt happen for a purpose.
its really hard to make tracks with that many transitions
and breakdowns and not have them sound like theyre tacked
on.

i put on cock the other night after a friend complained that
i didnt have any pendulum on my ipod. "if you fucking want
overstimulating drum and bass ill fucking give it to ya!"

altho, granted, cock is more acid, but like she could tell
the difference.

I agree about the tack on point. Maybe he didn't tack it on
though. Maybe they weren't softsynths. To keep that flow by
using loops would truly make him a genius.

the really high pitched beep at 1:36 and again later in the
track is just the right frequency that it kinda hurts my
ears. regardless, meltphace6 is my favorite track.

the very ending is nice if you crank the volume as it's
being mixed down
