Some day ago we talked about Ovuca... today I'd like to
know your personal opinion about another Rephlex's artist...
Cylob.

Which is your fav album? What do you think about "Mood
Bells"?

Cylobe today is your day...

I'm surfing at warprecords.com right now, and I'm wondering
about the same. Does anybody have descriptions of his
albums? What can I start with? Have heard just a couple of
tracks.

I'm listening at Mood Bells and I'm thinking that is
horrible... ;(
Is it only a my impression?

All I've heard by Cylob is a track on Trance Europe Express
3 under the name of Kinesthasia. The album also included a
lengthy interview, as well as interviews of U-Ziq and Aphex
Twin. The track was called Lave Trader, and I've always
really liked it. Has anyone heard it?

'Mood bells' is really a dull album... Saw II is like TECHNO
compared to it...

al>< is back!

Cylobs great. 'drunken' sailor is mad at raves

Saw him live once and it was one of the best gigs ever in
terms of out-there tracks to buzz off......love the live
stuff with afx in oz at joyrex his general attitude to
folksy stuff. If he got his mits on Irish trad.music...we'd
all me royally fucked !!!

Sepix, wizard!...how are yez?

Fuck know's what he's up to with "Cut the Midrange Drop the
Bass" - bullshit wind-up music. "Lobster Tracks", "Latest
Effort" and "Cylobian Sunset" are essential. "Rewind" was
awesome as well but the new ironic direction sucks hat.

Even though "Rewind" was ironic :)

i fuckin' bought MOOD BELLS before listening to it..bad
mistake. really dull album and i've only listenened to it
once.

I like his more harder/funkier stuff, and CUT THE MIDRANGE
is nearly a perfect EP (except Drunken Sailor which i
thought was a bit too long).
PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED is a great album. But i bought it
mainly because of the Aphex remix. hardcore stuff.
("German"...nice drill action going on there)
And REWIND is a CLASSIC.

I liked 'Mood Bells' and I found 'Previously Unreleased' a
little spotty. Some of it is great and other stuff kinda
crappy. 'Cylobian Sunset' is my favourite though.

Mood Bells isn't very good.
Cut The Midrange itself is just pop music, I like 'With This
Ring' off that album, the track noone ever mentions, its got
a great beat. Drunken sailor, meh.
Cylobian Sunset - Some very high quality tracks, Diof is
excellent.

Overall I'm fairly unimpressed.

yeah, "with this ring" is excellent. IMO it's one of his
best tracks ever.

Two words: Cylobian sunset. That's the best and the only one
I should have bought.

little trainspotter. But the music... hmmm. lobster tracks
and cylobian sunset is worth a little listen. cut the
midrange.... sounds like daddy dj to me! mood bells....
boring. and mind, i really like saw II, and mediation music
and things like that! buts its to... ungood. but what the
hell, he´s a nice guy =)

that means a lot.
