does Jaco not get on your tits after a while? he's just so
cheesy, plus there are only a few of his compositions that
can survive multiple listens (e.g. opus pocus).

i like tom jenkinson better, but i recognize that the guy
from primus probably is technically better.

i think its crazy how squarepusher can keep up with his
beats, they get so fast sometimes.

He rarely rarely is able to. It usually quickly changes into
fluffy sound mud. It's the truth, face it.

les claypool all the way, not saying tom isn't "as good"
because that doesn't mean anything
but claypool fucking own anybody i heard on the bass + he's
got so much his own style it's depressing, and he does it
all while singing with no semblance of difficulty

i guess he does 200bpm semi-quavers with three and a half
fingers while eating his bowl of frosties every morning just
for fun

yes, I'm not really too fond of his music in itself, I just
know bassists admire him, and if it comes to who's better at
playing bass, I trust other bassists.

i've seen squarepusher play live, but haven't seen claypool
in the flesh though. jenkinson uses a lot more modulation
though, but does play much faster. claypool's more of a
pluck-and-slap kind of guy. for now, i'll go with jenkinson.

these typical discussions are kinda pointless "X plays
better bass then Y" -"yeah but Z could floorthem all".
typical discussions for people who can't play an instrument
themselves.

i think slap guitar, even more than slap bass, could be on
my favorite instruments ever.

and that vid would have been so much less awesome if it
hadnt been for that one last move. true rockstar stylee
right there.

whether you like Rush or not, he's awesome.

Both of them make me want to do little sex wee's for
differant reasons....i couldn't pick which one was better
'cause they're fairly differant styles to compare
talent,it's just a matter of taste really........and they're
both awsome.
