I came to xlt to post about this but was beat to it. >,< Just think, they went from abstract advertising in select cities that would probably be seen by very few people to having entire articles written about them for free. Even bad publicity is still publicity :) |

It's funny how these "suspicious packages" were not packages at all, and this "great threat to national security" went unseen for... 3 weeks. Yes, it took our homeland security people 3 weeks to track down and find these "suspicious bomb-like packages".. bomb-like because... they had "batteries and wires", so to all of you, be sure not to throw out your old beta-max device on the curb... you might be prosecuted for "planting a hoax device". :) Boston PD is upset because people aren't taking it seriously. They should think carefully, because if we *do* start taking it seriously, shouldn't we point out their incompetance for waiting 3 weeks to find these? |
