umma project

i quite rate this. normally i get added on myspace by
randoms and never bother to check their music, but i thought
i'd give this one a try, and was pleasantly suprised. whole
album available to download. quite prog.

Principal Participant, check out the track "Wonderful". It's
shameless Housey Techno JOY, it reminds me of when music
made me happy and not disappointed.

I liked the artwork and the way umma projekt presented their
music and all, so even though it didnt sound like my type of
stuff I'm gonna give it a listen, downloading..

It would be really hard to recommend one unsigned artist
that is worth checking out as there's a few of them, let me
get back to this thread with a url later..

Unsigned music is not as good as Autechre or Aphex Twin or
Squarepusher. Don't bother.

Ohhh, that's the bit I love, it drop kicks you right back to
the "Old School", when I first heard it and that bit came in
I was transported to a beach rave that I've never even been
to.

Staz I was trying to remember that a cluster of blue
act after you pointed him my way a while ago, class.

not realy alot of unsigned artists that are worth listening
to, but sometimes you'll come across a good artist. I guess
I would say yeah its worth listening to, but id rather
listen to aphex twin or autechre, squarepusher
