OK, so what are your favourite TNG episodes, characters,
moments etc? I like some of the really lame early ones like
"Skin of Evil" that oil puddle dude is funny.

although it is quite good sometimes. cant name any of the
episodes though, but there was one with some native
americans living on a planet that the romulans wanted to
take over, and it ended up with Picard in a temple wearing a
funny mask. i laughed.

a good episode is the one where the enterprise is becoming a
sentient being. The only way to stop it is to have picard
and geordi holographically teleport/integrate into Data's
dreams (because the ship is giving him sub conscious
messages through his dreams)

the one where moriarty is thought to have become real is
awesome. then there's the one where the crew de-evolves.
then there's lots of other great stuff. tng rules, one of
the few good sci-fi series that are bearable to watch. the
movies are a bunch of horseshit, though.

Skin Of Evil is my favorite episode. Riker getting pulled
into the tar (DATA SOMETHINGS GOT ME!!!) really made an
impression on me as a kid.

Conspiracy would be my second favorite episode.

I love all the episodes really.

The only bad TNG movie was Insurrection. Nemisis wasnt bad,
just different.

my top 5 for the cast:

1. Data
2. Riker
3. Picard
4. Geordi
5. Troy

I liked the parallel universe ones, and the one where
everyone on board starts to disappear, except for Dr
Crusher.

"where no man has gone before" i believe, the one where they
transport into a dimension where everything they think,
immediately happens.
there were quite a few others i liked too, but can't name
them. i wish they hadnt stopped at "all good things",
because they were really starting to get it right at the
end.

I love the original series and I used to watch TNG fairly
regularly. I'm not familiar at all with the other
serieseiesiss. I lke the episode where they beam up some
country farmers with a really hot daughter and she falls in
love with Jean Luc.

any generation fans like the movie Star Trek Generations?

for some reason its like the most hated of the star trek
movies, usually coming in second place of hate near Star
trek the motion picture. I think its fantastic. the other
tng movies didnt really do it for me (too much action)

"skin of evil" is classic. I too was traumatized as a
child when they killed off a main character of the show with
no foreshadowing or build up whatsoever. usually a
character being killed off in a show is done more heavy
handedly. this was just a fucking shocker,

its too bad they rewrote tasha yar back in as a bizarre
romulan human clone

anyway.
