odd dream

I dreamt last night that I was walking around as a ghost,
but I wasn't dead yet, I was waiting to be born. I was
watching some people play tennis in a park in the early 80s.
I remember thinking "I've got a another year to wait to be
born." It's strange, because usually I my dreams don't
really have that much bakground or plot or whatever. I saw
two girls pouring Robinsons orange squash into paper cups
and their clothes and hair were of that era. It was very
nice and melancholy. (I don't belive in reincarnation or
ghosts or anything like that btw)

Maybe your subconscious was telling your conscious that it's
time to believe.

Or that it was thirsty.

glimpse of your future family playing tennis. Dennis is that
you?

i've only had a couple of dreams that felt super relevant
and realistic like you mention and remained memorable. it
can be pretty unsettling really.

the world is a dataset, and we are the parsers. that's the
reason we exist. they needed our dreams.

considering im in the middle of freud's 'interpretation of
dreams' for class at the moment, i feel like i should have
something relevant to add to this conversation.

unfortunately, freud was hugely unempirical about his
'research' and is only mostly interesting in a historical
context.
