great idea to show the records if they haven't got them in
stock - weirdos!

sisterray.berwick street london. the sites a bit shite but if they don't have
it no one does. This is the first place any surplus rephlex
turns up.

Yeah, they're not so hot in that respect. Not the cheapest
for vinyl, either.

My favourite is when they show it in stock, let me add it to
my crate, then when it comes to buy it, it all appears okay,
but after I've confirmed the transaction, they email me to
say items x,y and z aren't in stock and will be shipped
later, then have the audacity to charge me an extra £1
(recorded delivery) for each seperate package they send.
Sorry, your cock up, you stump up the pound. Particularly
irritating when it's one £2.99 release you're paying £1
extra p&p for. No, it's not a lot of money, but it's the
principle of the thing.

There's also the case where I added something to my order,
but when I got the confirmation email through, an item was
missing. I emailed them pointing this out and the reply was
along the lines of "you'll need to make a new order for
that" (the subtext again being- we fucked up, so you'll have
to pay extra p&p on that item).

I used to be a fairly good customer of theirs and must have
spent about £250 there in the past 3 months alone. I now
try to use other stores because they're a lot more
personable. I mean, rooted records rang me up to apologise
that something had gone out of stock and they'd not updated
the site in time and asked if I wanted to go ahead with the
rest of the order.

I prefer Juno anyway.

I have been very impressed by Norman Records who emailed me
a confirmation of dispatch literally 30 mins after I
ordered. The record arrived the next day.

Juno are also decent and I always check there first since
they always deliver for the next day. But they don't stock
the more obscure, weirdo stuff like boomkat.

Yeah, I ordered the bulk of the Analord series from Norman
Records. Nice folks, cheap, and super speedy delivery.
