I've liked Inner mounting flame, Apocalypse and Between nothingness and eternity. Probably in that order, IMF being best.
Last one is a live album.

If you like John McLaughlin I can highly recommend an album he did with Carlos Santana called 'Love Devotion Surrender'. I have material from that album on Bill Laswell's 'Divine Light: Reconstruction/Mix Translation' of Santana. That album also features stuff Santana did with the recently departed Alice Coltrane.

There is a track on Birds of Fire with some really evil, dark guitar riffs, and that's quite long. I don't have the cd myself, and have only heard it once, but I've tried to track down this particular song without success.... does anyone know what I'm talking about? Apparantly it's not "One Word" (which I assumed), and I believe it was the last track on either side of the LP.
Anyone?

I'm not going to download/steal it. I really don't download stuff anymore. I just want to know which track it was. But you can only hear 30 second "snippets" on the internet (via amazon.com, etc), which isn't enough for me to decide which track it is. If I had the money needed, right now, I would certainly buy all the cd:s that I want, right away.

darius: don't worry. I'm not upset.

It was the wrong album altogether.
It's "On the Way Home to Earth" from Emerald Beyond.
Anywhere I can listen to this track in full, WITHOUT downloading it (youtube, etc)? Preferably in stereo.
