OK, I've never done this before, so some tips would be handy. A couple of questions: is the genre restricted? Are they like "20 seconds of this song cross-faded/segued into 20 seconds of another"? Or is it entirely up to the individual how it's prepared? |

no restrictions whatsoever, just get the year right. regarding mixing/transitions, that depends on the tracks. i wouldn't recommend focusing too much on that, if you haven't done it before. perhaps you could pick some tracks which are 'related' to one another in some sense, either genre-wise or in terms of style. fade out-fade in is just as good, really. |

Nah, I won't do anything as dull as cross-fades... I'll probably sequence and at least experiment with 'enhancing' the transitions in some manner. If it sounds sucky, maybe then I'll resort to a simple cross-fade! |
