i wouldn't see it as humiliation. rather as feeling responsible for that boy's death. she could think she made him kill himself. if you mean humiliation because of her ugliness i think that would be the least of her problems. or so i'd hope. it seems pretty sick if her only worries would be about comitted suicide because of her ugliness. perhaps if she was twelve, but she was in her twenties (can't remember and i'm not arsed to read again). i guess she should be confident enough about those things. |
