I don't understnad monocles becuase, if they're just for the one bad eye, but then you have to close the good eye to keep the monocle in. So, I don't know, people with one bad eye on a budget, I'd say, forgo the monocle and just keep the good eye open. |

I saw a two ronnies sketch involving monocles. a lady drank half a pint of beer, sang half a dirty rugby drinking song, took half her clothes of... she made a complete monocle of herself. - this would sound better with their delivery of the joke though. |
