haha, I wish!

no, I fell victim to fashion, as I trusted a gay man to pick
out my glasses for me. They're expensive as hell and from
Dior.

I wear glasses for reading or whenever I know I'll have to
be concentrating hard on something. I get horrible headaches
if not. My mum's on optometrist though, so she tests my
eyes. I'm sure she doesn't do it properly because I'm me
though!

Funkmaster I know exactly what you mean. I've had them on my
face before and spent about 10 minutes looking for them
because I can't find them! :D

Drunken Mastah- haha!

i'd say about, 99% of my family wears glasses, so i keep
expecting my vision to one day just fade away. i dunno, i'm
16 and at this age my brother was already wearing glasses
for certain things, so i guess i'm not doing too bad.

I used to wear glasses when I was very young. Probably
between the ages of 3-6. They were little clip on things
which made me look a bit retarded.

Anyway I was scheduled to have a really nasty eye operation,
but some girl was on the list before me. Basically the
operation went quite badly and they damaged her eyes more.
After that, my operation was cancelled.

My eyes naturally healed themself and I now have perfect
vision. Good times.

I hardly wear mine anymore. Only in the car (I'm perfectly
legal to drive w/o them, but wearing them I have almost
perfect 24:26 vision, so why not?) and classroom
environments, as I have difficulty reading white boards and
OHPs (not blackboards though for some reason) from a
distance without them. As the tuition part of my degree is
over, this basically means I only wear them on training for
work.

I have started wearing contact lenses about 18 months back
(single day disposables), which I just use when I'm on my
motorbike. I wear them predominantly for safety (it's
dangerous to wear glasses under a visor on a motorbike), but
they offer better peripheral vision than glasses too, which
is a boon.
