recommendation: Salvatore is back with a new album. Compared to the previous album Tempo, Days of Rage is a more beatdriven, playful approach, with new energy.
Released now in the beginning of January 2007 on Racing Junior (RC CD-036).
Compared to earlier releases this album is more influenced by electronica. Still the tunes are based in the post rock genre (cf. Tortoise). The release is not quite rock/pop and not quite art/experimental. The music is intelligent, but does not compromise on heart, and that great feeling of euphoria.
Nils Økland on hardingfiddle appears on two tracks, and Lars Horntvedt (Jaga Jazzist) on one track.
the tracks "Mis for magnetic field reversal" and "A is for asteroids" are exceptionally nice.
