I've heard that he's a bit of a DIY expert and makes his own synths/contraptions himself using a mish/mash of others. Ingenious!
Apparently he also uses a Mac G4.....

he had alot of raloand drum machines and sytnths, and some tunes were most likely made on cubase (like donkey rhubarab).
the costum stuff is most liekyl old gear, just circuits removed and wires replaced to maek enw sounds.

donkey rhubarb is much too old to have been made on cubase or any other music program. richards homebuilt equipment was made from scratch, but used the shells of other equipment. he learned to do that from when he went to a polytechnical school for a brief amount of time

Hmm, I heard something from Mike P (Mu-Ziq) back on Joyrex's site, about how all that home-made stuff might have been bullshit. Hard to tell with Rich's lying habit, heh...

I think he probably toyed with circuits and such and probably did dismantle his synths but no to the extent that people believe.Disecting the method sometimes takes away from the listening enjoyment;)

yeah, but sometimes it can add to it... "wow this is so creative... I wonder what sort of unique things he did to blah blah blah etc etc"
My pixels are teaming with joy! :D:D
