people who keep things in perfect condition

what i mean by this is; the kind of people who never take
the plastic sheet of their mobile phone screen, or keep
things in the original packaging and never use them, just to
stop them getting ruined.... this really winds me up. i dont
know why but by trying to preserve whatever it may be,
you're actually making it look stupid by the fact its still
only half opened.

grr.

Yes. When I was younger, if I went out with an attractive
girl, I would smash her face up...I hate perfect things. We
are the same.

you should have stopped listening to nine inch nails!

I can honestly say, hand on heart, I have never listened to
nine inch nails. I don't know why but I just haven't.

Honest! The closest I have ever got to listening to nin is
the Aphex thing and even that I don't think I have listened
to right the way through. I have never been into the so
called industrial sound. I think it is possible to be more
menacing without heavy distortion and LOUD everywhere.

nin isn't that bad.

I've never listened to Nine Inch Nails simply for the
abrasive sound - that would be just silly..

I have a headache. I think I might go and eat and/or
something.

It's a weird headache though, kinda more towards the back of
my neck. Too much drunky lastnight.

Nine Inch Nails are good.
And I can understand people who keep plastic shit on their
things, because my ipod, psp, and mobile all have fucked up
screens. I guess care is needed with such devices, yes.

I like how this thread evolved into a NiN thread. Not that
it says anything about my likings of NiN, though. Mind you!

eddie cochran.

condition?

i'd lol.

It's funny-as when people have this attitude to things that
will, by their very nature, be slightly worn out or damaged,
every time you use them (Clothes, Records). Indeed, some
deteriorate even if you don't use them anyway (e.g. Tapes,
Cars).

Conversely, I dislike it when people are unneccesarily
careless with things, eg leaving CDs out to get scratched to
buggery, don't bother to repair (cheaply and easily fixable)
damage to nearly new things too. To me, it smacks of
wastefulness.

Maybe they've got better things to be doing with their
lives?

holes in them... bloody perfectionists.

I'm one of those people, who keep the plastic thingies
forever. but that's as far as it goes I do use stuff. You
know what? fuckit! i'm gonna remove the plastic sheet off my
ipod nano right now! (lying).

i smashed my headlight last week, but i dont really want to
fix it. it looks better that way, a perfect car just looks
so false.

Ezkerraldean: The filth won't see it that way (if the light
doesn't work). I agree absolutely pristine cars (unless
they're something like a sports car) don't look too good.
What cracks me up is people with things like a Range Rover
or GS1150 who keep them emmaculate. These things look better
with a thin layer of dirt and scuffed paintwork.

Of course, I mean, immaculate.

hedphukker. Yes, I think there's a certain charm that comes
from something that has been battered through heavy use (as
opposed to someone just being careless with it).
