[request] mastering with distortion

hello. I like to use distortion when I'm making music.
Mainly on percussion. However, I also like to use 'clean'
and 'warm' sounds for melodic instrumentation. Any tips for
mastering/EQ to separate these two nicely, so I have the
nicely distorted percussion, but yet maintain a warm upper
body?

Here's a pro tip:

To maintain a warm upper body, wear a jacket.

Rephase your quadrasplads over just onto the hi hats, then
seperate the snares onto cassette and the toms onto vinyl.
Replicate the hiss by spitting into a microphone. Hire a
session musician to play the drums over the top of
your prerecorded ones, but, crucially, don't record it. Just
hum it back over the tape how you best remember it. Then add
your melody and ill tuned guitar work over the top, convert
to mp3, forget about it.

Remember that time you posted a picture of your penis on
xltronic? I still have it. Should I upload it in this thread
right now?

Actually, it was Giginger who posted it! I've never posted a
piccy of my cock on Xltronic!

You can probably hold your drink on the underscore between
dog and belch, thus making room for another avatar.

maybe mix different channels: like export each channel then
add whatever effect you want on each channel and mix them

There's actually a word called manhandle.

Will you fiddle my fiddlestick?
