Theres a movie I am looking for and seems to be only sold
on Czech websites. Was hoping to set something up where
someone would buy it for me and then put it up on ebay so I
can buy it off them..

The movie btw is Krakatit (1947)
The story is by: Karel Capek
some snipits of the reviews:

"An ill man has a fever dream in which he creates an
explosive powder called Krakatit, which becomes an eagerly
sought substance by foreign powers."

"Slipping in and out of hallucination Hoger fantasizes about
the ultimate explosive. The black and white imagery and the
structure are well on the way to being the most imaginative
of it's day. The laboratory scene anticipates one famous
American film of the sixties in a way unlikely to be a
coincidence. The brooding, damp atmosphere the film
communicates lingers in the memory of most people who see
it."

"you're left wondering whether the events are being dreamt
or remembered. At any rate, this is a powerful movie, and
it's a shame that it's not better known or more widely
available."

most of the rest of the reviews are people talking about how
it is a shame that this isnt widely known, and how they saw
it 40some odd years back and how they remember it still etc
etc,

Thought I'd check it out...

what if someone else gets the winning bid?

surely it'd be easier and safer to organise it another way.

that we can work something better out..

Thanx for the bumpage!
