Give me your thoughts about this totally useless garment. You can also tell me what knot to use.
Two suggestions

the second one, the windsor, is a bit harder but gives better results. also, it matters how long the tie is. knotting a windsor takes more tie, so to speak. so if you have a long one, use the windsor. and use the slipknot if you have a short one.

and for the extra credits: the reason why the windsor looks better is that it gives a more symmetrical knot. the slipknot tends to be a-symmetrical. the windsor, in a way, is more like a double slipknot.

I am one of the only guys I know who knows how to tie a tie. I only know a half windsor, but I always end up tying my friends ties for them. So, my father making every effort to teach me how to be a gentleman, and learn how to do things like tie ties and so on, only succeeded in making me everyones bitch.

hahahaha it's not THAT bad for a first time. but i don't think you can learn these things from the internet. look for someone who can teach you in real life. or perhaps there are clips on youtube or something. maybe those could help.

Finally! A decent windsor. The part of the tie that's at the back of my neck is kinda inside-out, but the collar will cover it. I don't dare to untie it, cause I'm not sure I can do it again.

Things like ties make me not understand humanity. Hello, I think I'll wear an entirely useless long strip of cloth around my neck because everyone else does. Maybe tie wearing is a religion.
