You want to move here, classic prog rock never went out of
fashion. I was in a record shop not so long ago, in the
broadly termed "electronica" section, and the assistant
asked me if I wanted any... assistance, and I said no, I was
just browsing, and she said... ohh, how about... have you
heard Dream Theatre? Yes love, sadly I have, now get the
fuck away from me, you mad cow.

Whenever I see the word Opeth, I think of my Xltronic
username. They're pretty good, I love Blackwater Park. Dream
Theater are icky though.

I've been listening to a lot of progressive metal lately...
Cynic- Focus and Gorguts- Obscura really blow me away. And
not as fromagey as DT.

my older half-brother (now 37 or so) used to and still does
cream over bands like yes, dream theater, and king crimson.

luckily, king crimson is the only one that rubbed off on me.

porcupine tree are awesome. i havent listened to any dream
theatre in about 2 years but i remember it being quite self
indulgent crap.

But Yes is fabulous, just the right blend of the serious and
the tongue-in-cheek. They got it right where bands like DT
don't. Man I love 60s and 70s prog.
