I've been reading some marvellous interviews from Squarepusher's website, and have decided that he is actually very smart and inspiring. Sure, he's slightly arrogant, but his self-confidence is a positive asset. If he'd been less self-assured, perhaps the wonderous music that has so far been excreted from his house would never have been; instead, we'd have had watered down, dull trash, damaged by the opinions of numerous thick mundane folk that might have surrounded him. |
