Saw em the other night in dublin along with alexander Tucker - cornish folktronica meistro. fucking A Bardo Pond are a mogwai-like wall of sound guitary outfit from Philly with a moog, flute and female subdued vocals giving it that extra melodic kick that sends you right into your own warm head during each 10 minute dream track. i ebliev they played ATP a few years ago. Anyway if you like pyschedelic drones check em out sharpish-like. Tucker was a self sampling multi instrumental singer somewhere between fourtet, boc and .. well you know the deal. nice stuff |

i love them! way more than mogwai..mogwai doesn't get as psychedelic as bardo pond does sometimes. not to mention the philly influence..sun ra..mmm |
