As most of us know, AFX is apparently releasing some new
material on Rephlex (or something) sometime in the very near
future. If anyone has ANY information about it (music style,
name, anythin really) then you know, please share it... :)

Joyrex said something about a new AFX release this spring.

Does anybody know what "ASTROBOTNIA" is?
Rephlex are up to something, that's for sure. According to
the "one world" link on rephlex.com Astobotnia is a new
rephlex artist! could it be a new aphex alias?

It's called Analogue Bar?
What an amazingly terrible name.

offline titsworth from Washington, DC (United States) on 2002-03-14 00:43 [#00125203]
Points: 14550 Status: Lurker

it's not. firstly, that was mentioned 4 years ago in an
article that just went online yesterday. whatever project
rdj said was "coming out soon" didn't - and probably won't
(eg: ab5, caustic window album). secondly, analogue BAR?
sounds like a typo to me. it's kinda annoying how everyone
thinks rdj has a new cd coming out called analogue bar, that
interview is from FOUR years ago.

well im sure whatever it's called it will be good stuff,
plus i could survive a while with all his other stuff, it's
not like he's only got like 15 songs out. I'll be alright,
he can take his time

Richard will "never" officially release something again, he
will never ever release a new album.... :) U heard that
before.

Come To Daddy was his last, Windowlicker was his last,
Bogdans My Love I love is his last etc etc, Squarepushers
untitled is his last etc etc

Straight facts from the SOURCE.

offline Archrival on 2002-03-14 17:13 [#00125988]
Points: 4265 Status: Lurker

yeah right ;)

They pullin a stunt on us so that we gonna buy all their
releases, but its all good...as long as they keep on
releasin new stuff after that stunt. "Yeah this is my last
album, im gonna retire after this one, im tired of the
buisness" u heard that before?

AFXs new one will be released on that MEN label he have with
Tom I think.

I hope he will release this one sooon, I need it. I hope
Richard dont read this because if he do, he will just mess
with us and wait 3 years until the next.

Hmmm have Aphex stated in a new interview that Drukqs is his
last album?? I dont think he said that this was gonna be his
last, he was just talking about that he wanted to get of
Warprecords so he could release on his own labels :)

offline Archrival on 2002-03-14 17:18 [#00125995]

My bet is that we gonna have to wait some years though :(

He said drukqs is his last release to get new fans in. Sort
of the last one the masses will know about. So it'll be less
commercial and more avant garde. Hopefully.
