Lifted from another site:
A warning about the dangers of playing the new Lewis Hamilton drinking game.
I attempted this yesterday while watching the Grand Prix on ITV. The rules are simple, every time they say "Lewis Hamilton" you have to down a shot.
Unfortunately I didn't count on the rabid Lewis-worshipping commentary of James Allen.
By the end of lap one I had already downed 5 shots and thought I might need some more vodka. Luckily good old ITV stuffed in an advert after lap 2 so I was able to search the cupboard for another bottle. Due to Alonso's ****-up at the start and Kimi's car breaking the "Hamilton" rate seemed to go up alarmingly to about 10 shots per lap.
By about lap 10 I was completely out of vodka and had to resort to all the left-overs in the cupboard. The pit-stops accounted for the whisky, gin, rum and even some baileys. By halfway things were getting desperate so I grabbed a bottle of grappa for the journey and hopped into the car to nip to One Stop. Luckily I was drunk so the journey was quite quick !
I leapt over the counter and took 6 one litre bottles of vodka and threw some cash at the spotty 14 year old behind the counter. He was just explaining that I'd have to wait for a supervisor as they weren't old enough to sell booze when I punched him in the face and shouted "well why don't they put a f***ing grown up on the counter since half the customers are buying alcohol !!" and ran off.
I leapt back into the car and sped off up the road at 80 miles an hour, I suddenly noticed a police car behind me, and so he wouldn't notice me I speeded up. Unfortunately as I got to the corner the 214 shots of mixed spirits took hold and I crashed into a phonebox.
The policeman got out and surveyed the wreckage and said "who do you think you are Lewis Hamilton".... I reached for my hip-flask !!!
They think I'll be well enough to go to prison in about 3 months.

There was a great program about the McLaren forumla one team on TV just before the season started. They covered Lewis' past and how at the age of 11 he told Ron Dennis he was going to drive for him (he had won the carting season for his age group).
He seems a great driver and a nice guy and I look forward to seeing a lot more of him in the future.

LH so far has been pretty good considering all the problems with the car mcalren had last year.
he has been lucky so far too
we'll see how things go in 2-3 races
the great thing about this season is the championship is very much open and there are more than 2 guys who have a chance
he don't seem to be too humble and and sometimes sounds like a cock, eloquent but cock

Lucky? Bollocks. He has been phenomonal off the start and driven sensibly and maturely. He has done everything you can ask from a driver and for a rooky in his debut season he is fucking awesome.
He is extremely confident and just says things as he sees them, I never find him arrogant. Fuck being humble...name any truely great sportsmen who have been humble and I can name you ten who haven't. I'm not saying Lewis is there yet but he has the mentality to be the best.

hey, you sound like news.bbc.co.uk
i guess we'll see how things go
i remember button was hyped like this too maybe more; too bad he did not have a good car
i do admit that under pressure in few cases he did well (holding off massa for example)
where in massa's case all his wins came from pole where he started with nobody in front

No. Passing is almost impossible at Monoco and for a rookie to get passed Alonso would be asking a bit much. He could have been climbing all over the back of Alonso's car if he had continued pussing but overall Alonso drove an almost perfect race.
Also Hamilton was lucky at times as he was bashing the barriers a bit too much for my liking. Hamilton was fun to watch though. I like the way he flicks the car about.

I don't think Hamilton received any orders. He was driving past the limit; touched the walls a few times. And even if he was able to catch Alonso, overtake him is a very different story...
Next race Hamilton will be in the top of the podium.

Ron Dennis admitted that they told Hamilton to back off and stop chasing Alonso after the second round of stops.
He said that they positioned the drivers so that in the event of a safety car Hamilton would have won, so it wasn't a driver position choice just a tactical team decision. The rules in F1 mean that Hamilton should not have been told to slow and he should have challenged Alonso...however when you have two car teams this is never going to happen.
