strang.e did they have such a beeg geeg in mocsow with ae,
aphex, orb and so on performing at the same time? haven't
heard about ae having visited moscow at all. maybe orb did,
but not ae or aphex (i can be mistaking - if yes, then i
envy moscow)

hahaha
russia definitely seems like a fucked up country... i'm glad
to live in western europe..

how is ultramarine by the way? i've never heard of them...

I think it's from a time when music journalism was readable.

Ultramarine are great, CHECK OUT "United Kingdoms" where
they do electronic folk with Robert Wyatt that's a million
miles better than current folktronica. And Bel Air is good
too. Proper ambient techno electronica.

It was when jounalism was readable, that's for sure. It
almost reads like a chapter out of the Led Zepplin saga:
Hammer of the Gods.

I picked that book up in 88' or 89' when I was like 14
visiting England. I read that book a few times all the way
through cause the stories were crazy. I didn't care if they
made up or not.

its a sad thing that these kind of stupid fake stories are
still beeing written, and published.

but whats more sad, is that actually there are people that
believe in bullshit like this.

its not enjoyable at all, its pathetic.

why bother? it's a great read whether it should be believed
or not. does it even matter?

Hang on, what's not to believe? Are you saying they didn't
go to Moscow (twelve years ago) and that none of this ever
happened?

I think it is funny. I remember reading this a while ago
when it was posted in the aphex-live thread in WATMM. I
don't many people noticed it at all. I like the story of
aphex in the Russian hospital.

yeah thats were i did get it from :)-
why should i bother to fake such kinda story it was scanned
from an paper you have to be sick to fake such kinda things

lots of new sets on watmm too

like 2002-03-16 - USA-California-Los Angeles - All
Tomorrow's Parties - audio: not the 2003 soundboard one

2003-10-31 - Catch 22 (as DJ Caustic Window) - audio: mp3

are on there
you have to check the caustic window one seems like a lot of
unreleased aphex or live tweaking in it because he only
plays caustic window stuff and sometimes an unknown record
wich i heard before played by him live

oh sure i believe they did went out there to play those
gigs.
what i dont believe is a set of "incredible-funny-amazing"
things that happened, soldiers involved, all people in a
mess etc. loads of bollocks.

of course, simply saying "yeah the played the gig" wasnt
enough. someone had to create an amazing plot behind, that
is.

doesnt matter anyway.
