"20 Seconds to Comply" and, to a slightly lesser extent
"Bring forth the guillotine", the mighty Silver
Bullet
. I like UK Rap from this period. Can you call it
that? "Call it what you want" said Credit to the
Nation
, another favourite. Gunshot was another, I
worked with a couple of them when I was labouring in
Germany. These are my thoughts at this moment.

A future dog_belch biographer will be able to glean
important information from this thread.

So, to make it easier for a future biographer, care to throw
down a brief chronology for them? Key events etc, that sort
of thing.

In 1989 Silver Bullet played at the local nightclub (called
Langtrys) but I didn't go as the club was awful as fuck.
Except when they started having, unbelivably, an Indie night
for a year or so at the height of baggy, and then you could
duck in and run upstairs without getting the shit kicked out
of you (though leaving was another matter).

I have those two records '20 Seconds' & 'Bring forth the
guillotine', great tunes! I used to like a Rap group called
Hijack at the time also.

I like dangerdoom, been getting into the newer hip hop after
falling out with it for about 10 years!

I don't know Hijack at all, I will seek them out.

I never said my music knowledge was comprehensive, I never
even meant to give the impression I was even vaguely
cognitive of my surroundings, but I am always ready for new
things. As long as they're at least ten years old. I'm
talking about cultural artefacts, btw, not kids.

world's favourite naked DJ.
