Lost is lost.

So slow too, I swear they shot in slow-motion using the
Overcranking technique.

I started watching from the start but I skipped some
episodes from the first season.

season 3 so far has been really really bad. i'm a diehard
lost fan too, and i'm still going to watch, but the show is
really pissing me off as of late.

from all of the interviews out there, there is an overall
destination for the series to end up...but the day to day or
episode character stories are being written as they go...so
when people who only signed a 1 or 2 year deal need to
go....they just write them off.

although i'm having doubts if they've actually have any
direction as to where they're taking the show...because this
past season finale was suppose to be 'great' mind blowing'
etc. straight from Lindeloff & Cuse's mouths, and neither of
those words really sum it up for me...nothing blew my mind,
nothing changed anything i didn't already know.

the flashbacks are getting sloppy now too. the very last
one on air had no effect on the episode, or gave any clues
or tid bits into the character. pretty much filler til feb.
oh well.

I watched most of the first season but I fell behind during
the second and haven't been able to catch up. I enjoyed what
I saw but I think the series has passed me by and I can't
catch up again.

I've watchd the odd episode here and the show has panned out
like I expected to... it seems a shark has been jumped
because I didn't find myself wanting to get hooked again.
Still I'm looking forward to the inevitably disapointing
finale, for some reason.

from my arrival point, i just can say that LOST would not
become like Twin peaks during its second season (petty plot
etc)

the mysteries are ok....but too many of them is boring
more questions and less answers

s3e6
with the black smoke monster they really fucked up, now it
is going totally unreal.
devastated all the layers of meaning they've built and the
script crew is lost.
i think they write depending on actual pop-culture,
madonna's jump, malick's new world, even las vegas' ed
deline are things thats been used by the lost crew.
ill keep watching... long live rating boxes...

I think they are in danger of ruining it. Season 1 was so
good in so many ways, but , clearly they couldn't maintain
that. But I want it to be good, I WILL keep watching,
damnit.

I'd be pissed off if I was Claire. Now your story is over
but we can't kill you, spend a season and a half in the
background holding a baby.

I've seen up to series 3, episode 6, saw ep 6 about an hour
ago...have to wait until February when bittorrent springs
into life again (I'm not buying sky just for this, Murdoch
is a bad man)....

Anyway, I find that as always I care about John Locke, and
much less so about the other characters. I want to find out
about the secrets of the island, and the flashbacks need to
be curtailed.

The character development is a bit boring but I think this
is to get women watching.
The trouble is some of the jepardy/suspense doesn't work
when I don't care about the characters, live, die,
whatever.

I have faith the writers have a decent long term plan for
this. The end of series 2 left me wanting more, it was
brilliant...
So far series 3 has been a bit of a dud, but the same thing
happened when series 2 started. I suppose it has to calm
down to build to a crescendo again (I hope)

I hope they don't drag it out forever. They need to wrap it
up nicely by the end of series 5 at the VERY latest. They
also need to answer a few more questions as they go, I don't
care if it leads to other questions, I just want to know.

link to high quality blastdoor UV map, might be of
interest(?)

i was remembering that episode where kate and sawyer have a
dialogue that goes like this:

Sawyer: Every man for himself
Kate: NO!
Sawyer: It's every man for himself!
Kate: NO!
Sawyer: Everyman for himself.
Kate: Live toghether die alone!

And i was thinking that it sounded like that game on "who's
line is it anyway" where they have to talk in songtitles. So
so bad writing in that one...
