On top Asferico (ESP) is also playing a new show for us. ::: Saskia was discovered on Soulseek, and is that rare blend of musician, visual artist, and performing artist. Hailing from Barcelona, Spain, Saskia brings emotional sensitivity and dramatic flare to her music. It's music that makes you wanna dance, that makes you think...and may even move you to shed a tear for lost love. ::: Lackluster has his earthly roots planted deep in the concrete forests of Kontula, Finland. However, his music is closer to nature than to his suburban origins. Lackluster's sonic whirlpool has kept on spinning original music from it's epicentre for over a decade now. Lackluster prefers analogue over digital, living synths over static samples. Almost like nature's own designs, the sound of Lackluster consists of intricately woven organic rhythms and warm melodies, which resonate in perfect harmony. ::: The man behind this project is Alex Gamez from Barcelona; dj since the age of 15 and producer since the age of 17. He goes by many akas and nicknames. From dj deck playing minimal sessions, techno and experimental house to clase muzique, his production project with Fran Palomo, also from Barcelona, it embraces rhythmic minimal, mental and sono_modo with which one adventures into more atmospheric and experimental sounds. His latest project, asférico, is a proposal that is best appreciated live. It emerges from an artist needing to create and experiment without loosing the groove.
