close enough, probably.

What's the reason for the trip? If it's for pleasure/R&R,
may I recommend the Experience Music Project. The building
is a classic work by Frank Gehry, and there's lots of cool
music related things to do/learn about in there. If I ever
make it back to Seattle that is definately one spot I'll be
returning to. I recommend Pike's Market too, it's basically
a really nice/unique flea market that you might find some
one of a kind souveniers at.

evolume is from there.....i was there over the summer and i
had a very good time.

go to gas works park! though maybe it isn't so nice this
time of year. i went there like 20 times during my trip to
drink lemonade and watch seaplanes take off. i did also
like the experience music project, but it was kinda pricey.
the pike street market pretty much smells bad and is full of
assholes, you might want to go. take bill spiedel's
underground tour though, for sure, from pioneer square, it's
like $10 and pretty interesting and fun if you get a good
tourguide. seattle public library downtown is pretty nice
looking so try to walk through that. it was very hot when i
went there so i spent lots of time at alki beach swimming in
very cold pacific water but now is probably not such a great
time for it.

try to go to the olympic national forest, it's beautiful
there.

oh yeah the frye art museum is free but it kinda sucked when
i went in the summer, just some clog installations and
stupid shit like that, maybe it's better now.

reason for the trip is this and thats actually why
i get to go for free. gotta pay for everything else though,
its fine. i decided to stay an extra week just to see what
happens, even though i know no one there. might be a good or
bad idea. i'll definitely make sure to check those two
places out!

mimi: how much is that experience music project thing? i
will try and check out those places if i can get a ride
there lol :(

hehe, you would make a WAY better tour guide/travel agent
than me. :)

cygnus: listen to mimi, shes right about everything, though
I must add that the only part of Pike's market I noticed to
be smelly was the fresh fish sections, but that is to be
expected. (though, mimi may have had a completely different
experience and maybe it was smelly all over, who knows?) :D

actually the seattle bus system can take you to all of those
places, except for the olympic mountains :) i can probably
help you with the buses, too, i have them pretty much
memorized, i was there for a month with nothing to do really
so i went all over the place.

experience music project is like 25 bucks or so, i
think...you can probably look at the website.
