So, this is my final project from school, an 8 minute orchestral piece.
It's a mockup (obviously), so there may be some parts that sound fake, so bear with me. I was going to do a better mock up, with better sounds, but frankly I dont want to invest all the time in doing another mockup of an entire orchestra right now... maybe someday later. For now, I just hope you enjoy the piece.
Its pretty soft in the first half, so you might need to put your volume up, but just beware, it gets FFF in the second half.
Anyways, enjoy...

those drums in the begining sound a bit too dramatic for my taste, but i like when they calm down and the flutes (?) come in..very glass like with those string arangements..the second part gets a bit too dramatic for my taste again. the 1st part is nice, not so fond of second though..but i suppose you needed some variety.

Sorry, but I didn't much enjoy it. ...seems at times you were going for something like Fratres by arvo part, or whatever. It just turns out to be a hodge-podge of very bland ideas. It conjures no emotion from me. I'm not the musician here, but I think you might agree that the harmony is boring and the melody lacks...well, a melody--or a melody of consequence. It's also evident that you really don't have much of a "voice". Nothing in this composition is "individualistic".
Nothing "sings", nothing is bright or colorful.
Sorry, but that is what I think.

Agreed about the flute part too.
The string arpeggios do seem Glass-like in their introduction, but lack any development. Even Glass, with all his repetition, will take his ideas through some kind of relevant change that not only evoke an emotional response, but also presents his "voice", which can be pleasant to hear at times.

The title was enough for me to go "Oh.... no."
