some guys here wanted me to write my (first) experiences with my new e-tribe sampler - and i must say it´s really, really FUCKING GREAT!!!!!!
it just fits perfect in the needs i have, but guess that differs from music maker to music maker :)
the motion sequence thing is amazing (you can´t record it directly with a sample, but that´s not really shitty)
hmmm, yeah what to tell more - it´s easy to use - once you get through the sometimes very confusing manual (korg users shall know :)) - and a perfect tool for on the road
- oh yeah, anybody got any recommendations for a good bag??
so all in all i love it!

How much memory? What's the maximum sampling rate? 44.1kHz?

so, i hope i answer all the questions now:
it has a quantize function (it´s called normalize - pretty wicked thing)
100 mono samples 50 stereo samples 95 sec recording time per sample (stereo half) you can run 11 samples at once (audio-in included) save 16 songs (128 pattern each) onboard 64 steps per pattern 256 steps per song 64 events per part one motion sequence parameter per part
and last but definitely not least i´ll get a smartmediacard 64Mb on weekend which can save up to 9 setups ...
don´t hesitate to ask if you want to know more (i love talking ´bout it at the moment ;)) ...

I've always wanted one of those things. Unfortunately my money reserves amount to about $3.00.

that one isn´t that expensive - it´s about 1200 euro (dunno, guess it´s about 300 $) - quite a really good price for that stuff!!! maybe check some used ones?
