i had hoped he would have been making a 'graffiti' version
of the original painting - not just in the technique/paint
used, but also in style...

still a cool/impressive project.

I was hoping there was graffiti on the original
painting.

i dont see the point. like uzim says, its just a direct
copy... it removes most of the charm that spray paint gives
a painting, because its trying to replicate another medium

michelangelo didn't even want to paint

I agree with you that its kind of pointless, in fact I feel
it kind of hurts the original. The fact that he is painting
the cracks in the wall is even more nonsensical. On a side
note tho michelangelo didnt mind painting...he also
practiced architecture, and various other forms of art.

i think trying to replicate the original with spraypaint is
the general idea.
some people get it,some people dont.

and to add to your point: it's the skills that make this
spraycan replica of the sistene chapel impressive, or even
groundbreaking. other than that, yeah it's just a replica.
replicating in another format is always a display of skills.
nothing more, nothing less.

when you look at the first pictures on the ceiling
apparantly you can see he was just starting to paint because
the figures are to small in comparison with the rest of the
picture and composition stuff like that

also he never learnt how to paint a women, other than put
boobies on a dude

you talking about the original michelangelo painting?
if so then there is an explinaition for that.
it's because women weren't allowed to pose naked I believe.
that's why they took male models and drew boobs on them.

because look at raphael
