Not really related by sometimes I do little design jobs for this drug addicition treatment clinic based in Florida, and, you know how a lot of times these treatment places employ ex-addicts, because, you know, obviously they're in a position to understand the people that come seeking help. Anyway this one guy who I liaise with over there just sent me an email apologising about a late payment saying, and I quote "Sorry Dan, ive been kinda out of it lately."
Can't be a good sign, can it?

Well that's all fine and good. But if you want other people to understand what the fuck you're mumbling about, you'd better speak the Queen's English good and proper.

"cliche" didn't originally have english endings like "-ed"
so people who say "XXXX is so cliche" are actually being truer to the original pronunciation than those who attempt to english-ify it. At least that's what I read somewhere, I can't find the article now though, which means there's a chance I made it up

like when people think they're being really smart when they say "octopi" as a plural for "octopus." it's not the right ending because the latin plural ending for the word "pus" is "pedes." but the plural for octopus is just octopuses apparently

probably because octopede could be misunderstood as referring to something with eight feet and not eight tentacles.

I think it would be a better idea if all you Americans moved into a cave.
Why not use the one in Nevada where you're filming all the faked UncleSama Bin Laden videos...

Malcolm McDowell, yes. He's been in some of the most impressive, landmark films in movie history, and then, echoing Rutger Hauer's career, turns up in sci-fi hokum like "Cyborg 3: The Recycler " and "Class of 1999"
