Used, it's cool...but no manual. Can't figure everything
out. Does anyone here have a manual for it?

Possibly worth registering, they wil might though,
spam you with other products, not that thats a bad thing in
this situation.

Thankus. I don't know if I can register...all I got was this
from my friend for 20 bucks. Nothing else. No reciepts,
serial #, whatever, etc. I'll try it though.

I just clicked on create new profile, yeah they just want a
lot of your information and maybe not the details of your
product, this search was about the best thing i came up
with, good luck, if anything just twiddle with it and figure
it out.

Whoa! and Whoa! scoll to the bottom and
look @ some other artists gear :)

I used to have one for DJing, sold it to my mate for £50.
Fun to mess around with, but I'm trying to master the decks
without any gimmicks at first.

When your linking to articles in vintage synth, you need to
right click on the link that leads to the article, and then
use that as your url. Otherwise it just leads to the front
page.

An SP202 for $20 is a really good deal. It does the 12 bit
sampling too, right?

i had one and didn't get much use out of it. i think mine
may have been busted though, as the sample looping never
worked correctly. then again maybe i was using it
incorrectly.

the dr-202 (it's sister drum machine) is pretty fun,
especially when hooked up to some sort of distortion or
processing. the cheesy drums sound dope distorted.

i had an sp-303 for a while and it was damn fun to play
around with. the fx on it were prettty deadly.
i like the 505. a friend of mine has one of thoes and it's a
monster

You don't use an sp202 for pristene sound quality.

Or great functions for that matter.

You use it because its a sketchy sampler.

Yo* Just downloadd and printed at school just now. I think
I'm going to skip English, go home, and sample some stuff.
And that's about it. Then, I'm going to go to the pawn shop
and sell my Casio CASIOTONE CT320 and a small practice amp
for some cash. So I can go buy gas and other shit today.

I'll probably just use the 202 for field recording and
grabbing quick samples of stuff I hear. Nothing for serious
recording. I have Cakewalk for that.

I'm not going to buy one, but I'd take one if it was given
to me for free.

I have a SP303, and that thing is a killer. I've got a load
of 808 sound on the A/B banks, and a set of basic patterns
set to do little 4 bar loops for jamming over.
The effects are fantastic. I love the fact the LFO can be
turned off on the phaser and flanger. The chopper is synched
to the pattern tempo if you are playing one, so you can chop
external audio in time to the beats from the 303. that is
killer!
Great fun little box. as for the 202, not as many effects :(
but internal mic and batteries may be useful(?) for $20 its
a great bargain, but try to get the 303 if you like the 202!
