I loved "Ride On Time."

Awesome back in their day.

I have all their CDS, including singles, I saw them live
"countless" times and I still have the badges AND EVEN the
mug and they're one of my favourite groups of ever and as
far as albums go "The Facts of Life" is a great example.

So, yeah, good band, good thread.

Surely we need a Future Sound Systems Black Box
Oscillator/Processor Appreciation Thread too?

So, Luke Haines, he's been in loads of bands hasn't he?

Off the top of my head, without recourse to Google, there's
The Auteurs, Baader Meinhoff (one off), Luke Haines solo,
and I can't remember what the name of his group before
Auteurs was but I've never heard them either... The
Servant.... something like that.

MY LUKE HAINES TOP 10 for TODAY

1. Underground Movies (The Auteurs "Now I'm a cowboy")
2. Home Again (The Auteurs "New Wave")
3. After Murder Park (The Auteurs "After Murder Park")
4. School (The Auteurs "How I learned to love the
bootboys")
5. Unsolved Child Murder (The Auteurs "After Murder Park")
6. How to Hate the Working Classes (Luke Haines "Christie
Malry's Own Double Entry")
7. Kidnapping an Heiress (Black Box Recorder "England Made
Me")
8. Girls Guide for the Modern Diva (Black Box Recorder
"Passionia")
9. Brutality (Black Box Recorder "Facts of Life" single)
10. Goodnight Kiss (Black Box Recorder "The Facts of Life")

The Auteurs had a video by Cunningham, right?

I believe for Light Aircraft on Fire, was it? He did the
inside sleeve for "After Murder Park" as well, quite a
poorly executed cut and paste job in precursor to Aphex Twin
style lots of kids with the artists face type schlocker.

I think it was something like "Back with the killer again".
I saw pictures on the Cunningham Folio site. A creature in a
tube without eyes. Lots of blue shades. And toture or
something. It looked like a cool video and the song would be
great too. Never found either.

I actually had a tear watching the video for Showgirl
as I realise I am still living in 1992. It was better then,
though.
