hello everybody

i'm looking for more vintage electronic music (say 25 years
or older). any recommendations would be good. i have the
basics covered:

-delia, john baker, paddy kingsland, ray cathode and most of
the bbc radiophonic stuff
-brian eno
-kraftwerk
-tod dockstader
-wendy carlos
-jean jaques perrey
-stockhausen
-pierre schaeffer

if anyone has specific album recommendations from these guys
great, but i'm really looking for new artists. i mean old.
new to me. whatever.
fire away

I looked into Tangerine Dream after hearing about them here,
and I love it. Definately listen to some of their stuff, if
you can find it.

The 3CD OHM collection would be worth getting too, if you
want to get into some early electronic shit.

I find most of the early electronic music vastly superior to
new electronic music in terms of melody/harmony. It's also
aged a lot better than a lot of the late 80s/early 90s
electronic pieces...imo.

CS2x,

can you name some specific artists whose melodies and
harmonies are superior to nowadays electronic music?

Pierre Henry's Apocalypse de Jean

lots of Eliane Radigue
Robert Ashley
David Behrman
Salvatore Martirano

Xenakis is pretty badass.
