What does everyone think of this program? Of course, it is limited and restrictive in it's own "fruityloops"-ish sort of way. But then again, I havn't really experemented with the piano roll and synth features much. What is your opinion on this program? Made any cool tracks with it? I need your opinion because I am lacking one. |

i think it's fine as long as you have some decent sounds for it. it's the main tool in my little basement 'studio'. |

Fruity Loops is actually far less restrictive than most people initially think, especially in the newer (3.3 and 3.4) versions. Certainly Cubase or the like it still more powerful, but in terms of power for your money, FL is a small god. I mean, what other program gives you VST and DX plugin compatibility, Buzz compatibility, MIDI support, etc... for $100? |

about that VST thing.. as i understand it, u can use ReWire to sequence/mix/something like that/ ur Reason tracks in Cubase then in cubase u can use VST plug ins and effects, they are supposed to be better than Reason's.... im not sure though.. can anyone clarify that? |

i think fruityloops is great. i use 4 main programs actually. each one has its place. fruityloops creates a loop. cool edit pro chops and freaks the loop out. orion and wavelab are my performance tools. |

I've had like a 6yr gap where I haven't made any trax at all or even kept upto date with the development of music software and coming back to it is totally amazing....software like Fruity loops kidna replaces a whole room full of gear - it would have taken me years & endless expense jus to get a fraction of the power of FL.... It's a bit like Xmas...:).. (and the best trick with any software is to not just use one package - I'm with AMinal...go for the best tool for each job... |

i just installed fruityloops 3.4 yesterday, and combined with CoolEditPro1.2A, i made my first track, cold sand warm sand, which i will upload when i can - it's a fucking great programme, especially if one has served one's programming apprenticeship elsewhere. |

Aminal, Rewire is a bit annoying tho. it would make a lot more sense (?) if you could just use cubase or so as the sequencer for reason instead of having to use the somewhat limited sequencer section (incomparisoon to cubase etc.) in reason.!! ie full VST implementation. Re vst being better than Reason?? i don't know about that .. i know some native instruments plug ins are 32bit (virtual), dunno bout reason. |

I am yet to find any limitations in Fruity loops infact on version 3.4.0 I have taken to doing everything inside fruity loops..even if I manipulate sounds on other software..I import it back and arrange in floops |

Froops is good. I like froops. But the author got it wrong... its Froops 3.4, not 3.0 Lots of *.flp's on ma puter. Lots and lots and lots. |
