record/cd/poster show at the firefighters hall in omaha, 3-4$ to get it, usually about 20-30 vendors there, each with a few tables, in the past years there has always been a fair amount of "old records" but not a lot of electronic or rock/metal, there are a few shops from lincoln there, a few shops thst travel 4+ hours to get there even
im sure swift_ had a descent time

It was ok. Like you said, not much electronica. We hung for around 45 minutes, then grabbed pizza, then went to Homers. I picked up CD's of Come To Daddy (Aphex), Meathole (V. Snares) and something by some other WARP artist. Just because I thought it would make me cool.
But...I got some cute girl's numbers...that made my day.

Homers. The record show was good, but not a blast. Not really the stuff I was looking for (not that i was looking for anything.) Homers was almost as bad. Yesterday was generally dull, other than meeting nice girls. And one...more than nice guy, who I tried to avoid.

I like the Plaid album, so I think Im going to try to find some more. When the weather gets cold like this, i always tend to drift back to old Warp material. (On, On Remixes, SAW 85-92, Vol II, that kind of stuff.) So it's great to hear everything again, and not be bored with certain styles for so long. Plus I got an iPod yesterday, which may or may not help my social status and/or music listening skill level.

Well, I went to the one on 132nd and..........W. Center. It was shit. The place was run by post hardcore punk rockers, the kids who just graduated high school and smoke and drink cuz itz kewl. Still, I was able to find thse three CD's. I think I'll stick with the one downtown, or the Antequarium. Theres lots of dope shit in the basement there. LOTS.

I went to DP the first time yesterday. My friends shop there. I'm not "scene" enough. I don't think the 132 location is yuppies. Just kids who can't get downtown and potheads who don't have anything better to do, other than walk around the mall and never have fun. I've got to stop hanging out with John Cobb. He's 15, b ut he's hilarious. I bought him and his friends some cigarettes the other day, I got them while they all pressed their faces and peered into the doors and windows of the gas station. It was hilarious.
