where you guys live, does every other person have one of these? i go to university in seattle, and everyone and their mom has an ipod. i even see professors walking around with little white cords coming out of their tweed pockets. are they that popular in other places besides america?

I just got mine, hated it at first but then got used to the style of headphones and found an eq setting that works. Plus Itunes has pleanty of the music I listen to on it.
not going to lazytitle this but: www.cyberdog.net is an old rave/trance/industrial fashion site if you go to Accessories and scroll down to light accessories they have headphones that light up all the way down the chord.

seattle is, but the university isn't. it's all about stupid fucking frat kids who listen to the likes of fall out boy and she wants revenge on their video ipods. this place feels like a wasteland for music. i went to a local records shop the other day and they had nothing remotely good on vinyl, and all i found on cd that i knew was i think royal astronomy by µ-ziq. yet their "alternative" section was about 5 square miles.

yeah i hate "frat boys" they are loser sheep who drink and fcuk all the hot chics :)
"alternative" isnt as good as it used to be 5-10 years ago....o well, every frat boy listens to "pretend-punk" and thinks they invented it, come here wer have 3-4 good record stores, tons of vinyl if thats your thing :)
tragedy: your teasing the boys again when you say you have a "boyfriend", you know they get all giddy inside

the only reason i looked in the vinyl section was because it actually said "electronica" instead of "dance" like the cd section, so i thought there might be something worthwhile, not just "ultramix club ibiza volume 55". hopes dashed.

i dont like itunes even more now that my friend told me you can't even take music off your ipod and put it onto your computer. i thought that was standard with mp3 players. at least mine lets you do it. but it's also a huge box.

here yes, we see ipods all around. and since is fashionable, some people buy just the white headphones and plug in their walkmans to pretend it is an ipod.
