tell me, 'gentle people' your opinions about beck....he has
been defined the american aphex twin, even if his style is
completely different...aphex said that he likes beck's stuff
and he has also made a remix of his devil's haircut
sinlge.so what do you think of him? personally I adore his
music and Odelay is one of the best album ever made...

Beck is awesome! I saw him when he came here and it was one
of the best shows Ive ever seen. Whats the name of the song
where hes like "I met yooouuuu at JC Penny, your name tag, I
think it said Jenny..... " anyway for that song this bed
came down from the rafters and landed on stage and he rolled
around on it while he was singing, hilarious! I agree Odelay
is on of the best records ever.

I love Odelay. And I like Midnite Vultures too. Haven't
heard any of his Non-Geffen stuff, though...

Mellow Gold is also one of my favorites.

"I jumped up on the counter like a bird with no hair,
running through the mini mall, in my underwear." LMAO

I can't get into Beck. He's just one of those people I want
to like but just don't. I know he's good but I just don't
like him. Is the remix any good?

I didn't like his old stuff, but I bought Odelay because of
"Where it's at", and i fell in love with the album. I still
listen to it farily regularly. After that I had to have
every one of his releases, so I got Mutations. It was a bit
too mellow/folksy for me (with the exception of the powerful
Diamond Bollocks). Midnite Vultures I love, especially
Pressure Zone and Beautiful Way.
