I did laugh at the following comment in the user reviews for
this over on IMDb, sorry if it's an old gag.

"The first twenty minutes of the flick is build up to
when (spoiler alert) the towers come down...
"

Looks like sentimental slush - disappointing coming from
Oliver Stone. Saying that, his work seems to have been
lacking quality over the past decade or so; I think Nixon
was the last great film he directed.

This is a "cover-up" film. Made by Hollywood to just,
increase patriotism. Thus enabling Bush to have more money
for the "Oil Based" war his father started and now he's
following it, but even in a worse manner. More Billions for
that "so-called" war and fuck their economy, that's the
president bush...

glad the americans here can have a chuckle

cover-ups and politics aside, i dunno if we need to be
entertained by this movie coz no doubt i would probably find
this movie entertaining in an awe-like twilight zone kind of
way reminiscent to the day itself. but since actual footage
from 5 years ago is still vivid in ppl's minds, it doesnt
seem necessary to recreate that for most

I saw the Deer Hunter last night. Pretty much sums up what
Americans put up with from their government.

offline rad smiles on 2008-04-04 20:36 [#02191551]
Points: 5608 Status: Lurker

its not going to get better anytime soon, if ever. things
will have to get way worse before they ever get better. your
average american has far more to worry about like high
gasoline prices and job security. illegal immigrants
stealing your job and disease. divorce, american idol, and
sports are far more important than holding a government
accountable for various crimes. if you still manage to
muster up enough focus and nerve to say something about it
all, you're instantly a total penis and everyone thinks
you're lame. best to forget anything ever happened. things
will work themselves out somehow.

...Oliver Stone's WTC-film may be all horrible, but the four
small music pieces a f t e r the credits on the dvd-version
(composed by craig armstrong, played on the dvd to a empty
black screen) are fantastic, so extremely great! (shure - I
guess very american, very emotional - but impossible to
resist anyway. Sounds a bit like Arvo Pärt in style.)

wtc epilogue 1 (piano) 1:29
wtc epilogue 2 (orchestra & choir) 3:30
wtc epilogue 3 (orchestra) 2:54
wtc epilogue 4 (piano) 1:18 <- best piano music ever)

Check it out!

(btw, Zeitgeist are a better film regarding WTC)

Fluoride in the tap water, trying to disarm the people,
lot's of entertainment ... that's how governments past and
present control people .

Reading will save the US, and the rest of the world, from
their tyrannical governments. PPL on this message board
excluded from the statement, obviously.

And not STAR magazine either.

I mean, do people still believe that the building was
stuffed with bombs that went off a few hours after the
powers that be crashed one of their own aeroplanes into it.
Why not just let the bombs off and say terrorists did that -
why use the planes at all?

I guess the planes were needed to make it OBVIOUS for the
common man that the terrorist did it...

If anyone believe in the 9/11 conspiracy theories? well,
after watching the documentaries about 9/11 I just can´t
believe the conspiracy about taliban-terrorists anymore,
that's for shure anyhow.... Do you actually believe in fire
making dust of 90 000 tons of concrete + one building that
wasn't even hit by a plane???

good question i was thinking that the other day i forgot to
check that out. perhaps its because it would have been
impossible due to the high security of he building ...it
would take lots of explosives and cables to fall the
building and thermate too. i was tinking perhaps a new
sprinkler system or smoke alarm system could have been
installed and they could have blamed that company.?....but
if anyone installed bombs in that building the sniffer dogs
would have found them (they had dogs in the building) and
allot of IT people who would check whats being
installed....this is why i think the devices may have been
installed many years ago. thermate was invented in the
1800's its nothing new. some f))kers killed many people and
many profited and many lost family friends money ....but its
so much more .

check out the videos availible and decisde yourself im very
convinced. there is so much evidence. its insane the whole
thing,.

truth in their statements... (it's just easy if you're

...in march 2001 they began working on the new lifts in the
WTC buildings. (there were lot's of space for placing stuff
out)

...but the hardest thing to believe about all these theories
is - how many knew and wouldn't anyone have leaked it all by
now?

true many people must have known.....

LSD ,threaten torture and death of family if done bad with
offer of a high mass of money and security for family for a
good (evil) job done,

people can be trained to kill. fix lifts and plant
demolition systems.

It's all shit. This would have involved a hell of a lot of
manpower - it only takes one leak to blow it all wide open -
the government would get comprehensively ripped to shreds
and the entire world would outcast America. A very
unnecessary risk!! What people fail to mention is, what
would Bush have gained by 9/11? All that just to invade
Iraq? They pretty much invade who they want anyway - they
dropped two nuclear bombs without obstacle, Iraq is small
fry compared to that.

"What people fail to mention is, what would Bush have gained

sheesh, maybe you should read a few more books or
something...

Naomi Klein's "The Shock Doctrine" is a good place to start.
