ok. who else is hitting the gym so they can do this?

I've started running more and working on my arms here and
there.
I hope to be able to start my own parkour video by
springtime.

saw the movie District B13 and pleanty of parkour videos
that have been all over the net. it has become my reason for
exercising.

strange thing. there is not much that i know about this.
learned that jumping over various city barriers was made
into a movement with it's own name less than one month ago.

parkour in america is called freestyle walking

i used to do it in middleschool. .. if you did some good
moves and you had a wack final pose it didnt really mean
anything. i would still do it if i was in shape ,all i
retained from doing that stuff was poplocking cause we also
did a lot of that... and i still have this trampoline in my
garage that we used, oh and my right ankle is permanently
fucked up i think. i cant jump on it very hard without
relying on my toes

got beat up a lot when we weren't in groups :( made fun of
and ridiculed just cause we were having fun. "you faggots,
what the fuck are you doing. hahahaha look at those apes"

I get friends to record me on my mobile phone doing jumps
and stuff - great fun, but they all think I'm childish for
doing it. I don't care, I enjoy it greatly.

Don't think you need to hit the gym tho, do some stretches,
lower your centre of gravity and tighten up your sense of
balance -- all you really need.

I am trying to mix parkour into breakdance
like start a video jumping building to building
flips etc etc. then down a few stories off a
building spring off the wall into a backflip roll
into some breakdancing.

Ive got to get flips down pat tho.
