is there a good place for these

most of them go at like .5 k/sec and end up unusable because
of like 35 part rar files.

ePSXe for life, been using that for years. I'm currently
playing through Vandal Hearts again. Unfortunately my
computer isn't good enough to run Dreamcast emulation all
that great and my Dreamcast controller doesn't work
anymore...

But yeah, underground gamer is a godsend, bookmark it. No
need for any other emulation resource.

ePSXe never worked for me, too many plugins and buttons,
also due to the fact my pc is nearing the scrap heap.
connectix with the xp patch runs nicely.

theres a game i coulnd't find on the tracker called "po'ed"
or something, basically an awful doom copy but something
that stuck in my mind was having to battle a giant arse
somewhere in one of the levels.

PO'ed is included in the big 40 gig 3DO collection! I've
been digging through that playing some of the crappy games I
only read about in magazines back in the day.

Wasn't the Dreamcast a game system? Or something?

Anyone who has a Dreamcast needs Space Channel 5, Rez &
Ikagura.

you say your comp isn't good enough for dc emu, but isn't
there really a "market gap" for a workable dc emu out there?

I mean i've spent time in the emu scene, and even PS2 seems
to be getting further in emulation than DC, though they
require the fastest and bestest in gear to run... The only
game I ever got to work for DC was Rez, though without sound
it was useless.

there's chankast, dreamemu and dreamer out there, but no
ePSXe... what's with sega? the only sega systems with proper
emulation are genesis and earlier.

Yeah, I haven't really looked into Dreamcast emulation in
depth so I can't speak for it. But I've spent a lot of time
dicking around with Saturn emulation and it's a pain in the
ass. Much weeping and gnashing of teeth. I never owned a
Saturn of my own. My cousin had one but there's so many
games on there I haven't really got to really sit down and
enjoy. Fuck I wish there was a Saturn emulator comparable to
ePSXe, that thing never fails me.

You know, the PS3 is offering up downloadable PS1 games
online... I think Genesis games are confirmed for the PS3's
download service too... I wonder if there's an outside
chance of any Saturn games getting on there. Stranger things
have happened, I mean the Turbo-Duo and Commodore 64 are
included in the Wii's Virtual Console...

yep, I've had my share of arduous struggles with saturn
emulators (giri giri, cassini etc...)... I literally lost
one night's sleep over trying to get shining force to work -
which it finally did, but you couldn't save, so forget about
it.

yea, i hope "next gen" will ultimately mean carrying over
each preceding "gen" to the platform - backwards
compatibility to the maximum! Alas, this will only happen en
mass when people stop being so uptight about ownership and
copyright issues over dead games. Until then, I'll stick to
my PC.
