Used to be lots of stickers saying that over here in the UK about 5 to 10 years ago -- not so much of them anymore.

I saw the big prominent "Gouranga" on the bridge on the Motorway between Sheffield and Leeds and assumed it was something to do with Grand Theft Auto. Either an obsessed fan, or the Rockstar North boys having a laugh/doing a bit of promo.

I have also seen the stickers on the motorway. I was also approached by a man in Nottingham with a clipboard talking to me about Gouranga monks. He asked me to donate £20 to the cause or to buy a book that cost £20 or something.

"New road signs by the ramp leading up to the Mancunian Way at Grosvenor Street where Brook St becomes Upper Brook Street. The sign points to the A57(M), i.e. the Mancunian Way. 'Ring Road' refers to the Mancunian way, not the M60. On the edge of the flyover is the word 'GOURANGA' in large letters on A4 sheets, stuck on by unknown individuals. A friendly Hare Krishna adherent I met in Glasgow told me this means: 'Be happy!'. The word 'GOURANGA' has been stuck onto countless road and railway bridges all over the UK."

I shouted GOURANGA! and Masuimi Max knocked on my door and sucked me off.
Seems to work.
SValx : I saw that Gouranga thing, too.

Liverpool used to be covered with them...either stickers or spray paint on every bridge.
