for the record, although I don't like to use the word, I
find Hello Everything the most boring of the two.

In a woe begotten genre that, like some vile parasite,
attached itself to various highly creative musical strands
and attempted to bring them all under one vile roof, then in
turn choked to death by never rans and hamfisted copyists,
any record that defines itself as "IDM" is by defualt
boring, so.. my vote goes to THE ENTIRE GENRE.

won't go.

It includes IDM 1,2 and Tres (so that J-lo can feel
important)

I dont think too many latinos like IDM.

I find quite alot of []push to be boring.

define 'boring', like the BPM is too low? or there's not
enough samples used?

cygnus- slow doesnt necessarily mean boring.
slow too can be rather stimulating, in turn you can also
have a fast hardcore track be boring as fuck I.E. VSnares.

Boring is more personal than all that. like I find cock
ver10 by Aphex Boring as hell till about 2 rds into it.

there does not have to be a reason for it. just what is
boring to you at the moment when you're hearing it.

Windowlicker gets boring after its intro. However the remix
done for Cunninghams video for it is ace.

i don't really think it's possible to get bored of a
sound... there are sounds all around all of the time... the
majority of which arent heard because one can be so used to
them. i've been around over 20 years, and certainly i would
have been bored of them by now but i don't feel bored by
naturally occuring noises.

there is music that is overstimulating though. like, the
hihats in electro tend to get to me after listening to them
for 5 or so hours.. i love electro and its not that theyre
boring to me, its overstimulating my ears. i'm going nuts
cause this damn hi hat is freaking my ear-drum stimulation
out

i can't really ever be bored by anything, i suppose i could
be over-stimulated by something, but not bored by it. will
make me feel anxious and like i want to lie down and go to
sleep, clear my headup, but not particularly make me feel
unstimulated. i dont know, it's a good question! one must
also factor in if he or she enjoys being bored (because some
people certainly do)

boring music = music that fails to stimulate? could be like
a track that has a really good bass drop and then it just
sort of goes nowhere after that? i can consider that
'boring' i guess.

kinda like a girl who sucks in bed? she's smoking hot, has
great tits, nice humongous ass but just sort of lays there
and waits until you're finished? that's boring

tbh i find most music boring..

i listen to a lot of music everyday, downloading new albums
all the time, but most of it is fucking shit.
there are some standouts i don't find boring so i listen to
those.

but for the most part a lot of music is boring.

Just because an artist like Aphex makes some fuckin bangin
music doesn'y mean that everything he does is great just
because he is Aphex.

I agree that hi hats get overbearing in most electronic
music

I also agree that Minimal with repetition is a very bad
combination

Ae gets very repetitious at times. most of those songs I
skip.
or they have tons of little things going on behind
repetitious kick snare combos.

the cheesy synth sounds on Venetian Snares HCCBU dull the
songs down by sounding too Anime, Goth, Superhappy, I dont
know how to describe it some of his sounds are like that of
a Nursury rhyme trying to be demented.

I'm not saying I don't like it, I think it's great,
essential Ae, but not much happens with it. Maybe that's
part of it's beauty.

Not really IDM either, but Arpanet's Quantum Transposition
is pretty boring, though I like it now.
