Went along to this with a friend of mine, only owning one Mogwai album (Rock Action) and not being very wowed by it. Turned out to be the best post-rock gig i've ever seen, surpassing the time i saw Sigur Rós in Somerset House.
The epic music went hand in hand with the grandeur of the Hall, the songs were wonderful and i managed to find a setlist from it, so now i'm downloading music from the gig. Anyone else go?

There were no blonde people at the gig last night, quite a few girls with beardy men

I envy you man. Saw them earlier this year, and though I've been a big fan for a while, I was totally blown away by the gig. Did they have a decent light show?
There were quite a few gals at the gig I went to, and very varying ages generally. It was refreshing.

PS Rock Action isn't their greatest.
Try and get hold of their new one, people are saying its their best since their debut.

They played alot of their new one, apparently, last night, and it was incredibly impressive. They used this vocoder throughout a few of their songs and it was so beautiful.
I don't think any recording could match the colossal sounds of yesterday.
