watched that documentary about Mark E. Smith again this
evening, on BBC 2.

I still think his singing sounds a bit crap, but I'm willing
to give The Fall a serious listening, so - any suggestions?

I'm looking for the name of an album to start with, not so
much songtitles.

much appreciated.

What is the name of the documentary? Maybe I can lift it
somewhere.

Yes. The new one even, Fall Heads Roll is very good. Go as
very far back as Live at the Witch Trials, Hex Enduction
Hour, all worrth the time if you're determined to enjoy
something/someone you inherently dislike.

hmm. thanks all. I'll try that compilation, perhaps some of
the earlier albums.

it is true that I disliked The Fall on first listen, but
there's also something there, if you know what I
mean.

it's called "The Fall: The Wonderful And Frightening World
Of Mark E Smith" - dimeadozen had it (here),
people stopped seeding it, it seems.

it's been reuploaded to UKNova (you need an
account), about 6 hours ago - hence the 0 seeders, 0
leechers count. I hope.
