Hey chica, good to see you around here again. :)

I almost went to this exhibition in NYC when I was
there a few months ago, but we were on a very tight budget
and had to skip it :(

I kept seeing the ads for it in the subway trains and I have
to say it looks really intriguing, if you have an affinity
for the grotesque.

i went to it in a &seekwrd=#019172399"
target=blank>vancouver it's good. it's not grotesque at
all... in fact, it's a bit overrated and too hyped up. but
it's still good

and thanks for the head's up! I'm sooo going. i heard
about this when the exhibit was called Body World a few
years ago, but it was in LA and didn't make it up to
Seattle. As a Science Nerd, i can't help but get like
really excited like oh man omg yay.

well i saw it and i'm saying it.

there was this moment when i was watching one of the bodies
up close, i was standing just in front of the thing but
looking down, and i raised my sight a lil bit and my eyes
met the eyes of the body and it was kinda scary cus the
thing was 'looking' right at me, but then i just chuckled
and smiled. remember to look those things eyes.

but apart from that it's not grotesque at all if anything
it's interesting, in a scientific way, like you always see
pictures of the human body but you never get to see how it
really is. so that's what good about this.

sometimes looking at the eyes scared me a little, i thought,
what if they look back at me. haha.

are even the eyes real? or do they use false eyes? i know
it is a pretty revolutionary preservation process, but it
seems eyes would be very difficult to preserve in a natural
looking state.

and they're so easy to replicate. I thought they were glass
eyes to be honest. Maybe they were real, who knows.

Did some research on the eyes. All signs point to glass.
