My how things have changed

I just got a guitar. It has a half naked girl holding a
sword on it. I am loading my studio with analogue filters
and tube overdrives, getting rid of all my synths that use
matrixes, and buying a minimac to do sequencing and
recording. In the last month my perception on music has
changed, because I have finally realized what I need isn't
necessarily in hardware or software. Its in a condusive
musical workflow. Solitary DAW bore me to tears, and I love
writing beats in my MPC, but its a headache trying to get
melodies with that thing. And a good digital hardware
recording environment that maintains any warmth of the
sounds I make would be too expensive. It sounds kind of
cheesy, but I really need to write something meaningfull for
people to listen to before the world dies.

Thats what I got to say. Anybody interested in buying my
evolver? I love it to death, but I can't be bothering with
matrixes any longer.

my opinion is not worth much since i'm not familiar with the
matter at all, but if you love it to death, you might regret
selling it even if you don't want to use it anymore...

Oh... I know I have to sell it. I am going to buy the poly
keyboard eventually when I get a bit more money, but its one
of those things. I can use it to get something that will
help move things along. Its kind of a hinderance, because I
always want to do something, and it ends up taking too long,
and I always have to read the manual just to figure out what
the abreviations mean.

Yeah. The new dual core mac mini's seem to be a fairly
economical choice for a second computer. I'm sure I'll hate
it, but it will do what I need it to, which is sit in my
studio, make a limited ammount of noise, take up no space at
all, and run a sequencer. Best of both worlds (mac & PC).

yeah, it should do the trick nicely, and if osx gets too
annoying you can always make it boot windows

Hmmm. Thats gotten me wondering, has anybody booted windows
on a mac? And if so, does it slow it down, or what bugs does
it have?

Yeah. It also has a dragon on it, and a castle. My
girlfriend bought it for me for my birthday. It was an
awesome gift...

it's pretty decent actually. a friend does that on his
laptop and it's about 15% percent slower when it's doing
windows i think - it runs pretty well according to him, but
he use it only to play battlefield vietnam and stuff like
that.

You can soon play around with this

It's an mpc emulator where you just drag and drop files onto
it and you can play around likke the real one but then save
it as a program file.
