hey, i need some new music, getting bored of my track
listings. thing is, i'm not really aware of any new talents
in the electro scene. i guess im getting old or something.

apart from the obvious heavy weights i like

matmos, arovane, funkstorung, vector lovers, biosphere

so anything like those is cool, also if you know of any real
dark ambient music, i'd like to know about that too, just
drop me a few names ^_^ ty

I just bought Bye Bye Gridlock Traffic by Secede yesterday,
it has quite a lot of what I might call dark ambient and it
goes a bit like plaid and occasionally autechre. i really
like it, and its definetly one for listening to alone

Aidan Baker. He must produce about 100 hours of great
ambience a year. And Asmorod if you've got a bit of Goth in
you.

no, but I really want to thought it sounds like something
that would be really noisy live at times...

I'd also like to add Serge Gainsbourg, Nina Simone, Mulatu
Astatke, Kenny Burrell, William Parker, Esbjørn Svensson
Trio, Trio Töykeat, Matthew Shipp and Andrew Hill to the
list of music recommended.

If you want "something introspective for listening to
alone, spacial" then may i suggest this in quite a
forceful manner. It's not dark or even ambient really, just
really great. Give it the full hour in total silence and
your ears will feel different, trust me.
